Being a Backstreet Boys fan has been a significant part of my life, shaping my experiences since I was 15.
As fans we all have our favorite works by our favorite artists and, no matter how much we try to deny it and pretend like we love everything that gets released by our favorite artists, we also have music that just does not do it for us.
I was born in 1998. “Backstreet’s Back” wasn’t even one-year-old yet and “Millennium” would come out exactly one year later.
If you’ve been around the Backstreet block for awhile, you’ve probably experienced the many versions of Backstreet fangirl that most fandoms are made of.
As we all know, the narrative that ‘I want it that way’ doesn’t make sense lyrically is pretty much a pillar of the Backstreet Boys fandom.
Anyone feel like they are starting to lose their minds, or that others are? I think we have come to that time when we just need a break, and we should say it to ourselves, “I need a break, from (fill in the blank).”

I filled my phone with hard rock and punk and every other song that seemed ‘edgy.’
We all have our own ways to cope or get through things. For many of us, the boys are how we get through tough times. But how do the boys cope?
Based on their posts and interactions over the years, I put this “fun assessment” of our favorite guys.
Fangirling during quarantine, is it possible? YES! Yes, it is! I’ll admit that that last week of the South American tour was stressful for me...
I Got You. What does it mean? It’s a Nick song about soulmates. Love. Letting the other person know you’re not going to give up on them. For me, it’s a song for my best friend. Nick is part of the reason why we met to begin with.
Is anyone at this point thinking, “Hey COVID -19, Quit Play Games with My Heart,”? I know many people would rather be home thinking let’s have a party but we need to stay home and just Roll with It for now and protect our DNA.
As a mental health counselor and fellow BSB fangirl, I know everything that is going on is likely to cause additional stressors with your life, your families, and your friends.
Howie Dorough has been some kind of busy as of late. Once Vegas was over at the end of April, Howie had a bit of down time to spend with Leigh, James and Holden before hopping on a plane and flying to the other side of the world.
Here are some tips to help you when you’re traveling solo. Whether it’s on the cruise or to Las Vegas, always play it smart when it comes to your personal information and money.
As you know, we're going to have '90s night on the 2018 Backstreet Boys cruise and while a lot of people are thinking about what kind of outfit...
