Let’s settle a long-standing debate among pop music and just BSB fans in general: Millennium isn’t just the most commercially successful Backstreet Boys album to date — it’s the best one. Period. Full stop.
In the whirlwind world of pop stardom, it’s easy to be dazzled by the flashiest voice, the boldest moves, or the loudest personality. But every great group needs something deeper—someone who holds the center, grounds the vision, and keeps the whole thing sonically and spiritually intact. For the Backstreet Boys, that someone has always been Howie Dorough.
The Carters: Hurts to Love You is a raw and unflinching documentary that delves deep into the troubled inner world of the Carter family.
Life is full of stages. The excitement of youth, the struggles of finding yourself, the overwhelming responsibility of building a family and career—it’s all a journey, and “Stages” beautifully captures that reality.
The Backstreet Boys are returning to their roots in the most spectacular way possible—by rebooting Millennium, their wildly successful and record-breaking sophomore album that catapulted them into global superstardom and made them a household name.
It’s night one of #BSBAtTheBeach. The welcome party is packed in the outdoor theater at the Sunrise property at Moon Palace Cancun. The Backstreet Boys are on stage chatting with fans, talking about the next few days’ events to come, swapping jokes with one another as they always do. The resort has delicious food out in a buffet line and the cocktails are flowing. It is a perfect evening to start off the first ever 4 day #BSBAtTheBeach event.
Day 3 brought a slight sleep in (830ish…) and a need to get up and get going to get the 2 roomies to Singled Out for check in. We all got up and got ready, talking again about the premise of the show and how 50 contestants were going to compete for these boys affection.
#BSBAtTheBeach Day 2 began with a room service breakfast for some of our room and a buffet breakfast with friends for others. I joined friends at the buffet and got to spend some time catching up and meeting new friends. That alone is a tenet of BSB events and one I greatly enjoy. The food was pretty good with a lot of options at the buffet. I particularly enjoyed the mimosa bar, but the eggs were pretty good too.
I can’t believe it has already been 2 weeks since we returned from paradise after a beautiful 5 day stay in Cancun with none other than the Backstreet Boys. I still can’t help but think about how grateful and blessed I am. How many people can say their favorite band has been together 31 years? How many people can say they went on vacation with their favorite band? How many people can say they spent a weekend in Cancun with Howie, AJ, Nick, Kevin, and Brian AND a bunch of our BSB Army friends? This was truly an incredible experience, one for the books.
Fans submitted their choices for covers that Nick Carter could add to his setlist…We threw in the videos for those he had already done! Check it out!
As part of Backstreet’s Back at the Beach in Cancun, fans were given an opportunity to place their name in for a drawing to participate in a number of activities including a volleyball tournament, Surf and Serve, with Nick Carter. I had put my name in for a few events, but had not won. Nick’s event was my last chance, and with my favorite BSB.
Can you believe it has been 25 years since the release of one of the most iconic pop songs of all time? That’s right, the Backstreet Boys’ timeless hit, “I Want It That Way,” first graced our ears on April 12, 1999, and it continues to captivate listeners around the world with its infectious melody and heartfelt, albeit confusing lyrics.
