Best. Birthday. Ever. – @BackstreetBoys open the DNA World Tour in D.C.

Before the DNA tour, I never attended the first show of the Backstreet Boys’ North American tour. I saw the first show of the second leg of the “Black & Blue” tour and I saw the second show of the “This Is Us” North American tour, but never the first.

Let’s just say that the electricity in the room will never make me miss a first show again.

I was all set to write out a long review of the show, but then I thought about it this week and you know what? I don’t think I am. I’m not writing one because the show wasn’t great, because, let me tell you this, it was possibly the best concert I have ever seen.

I feel like I want people to enjoy it on their own terms. There were so many special parts of the evening – from Kevin telling me “Happy birthday, bioooootch!” during the meet and greet, to Nick pretty much standing right in front of me the entire time he performed “The Way It Was” with his “I see you” right before.

So instead of writing out some long thing that people probably won’t read, I’m just going to post photos from the show. I posted videos the other day from the show in a seperate post.

Let’s just say it was the best birthday ever. EVER.
