It’s beginning to look a lot like Backstreet Christmas! On October 14, 2022, the Backstreet Boys released their very first Christmas album, ‘A Very Backstreet Christmas’. The vinyl version will be released in December. With a new album it means there will be promotional appearances. Five iHeartRadio Jingle Ball concerts throughout the U.S. are confirmed for December, and one concert will be live streamed. That’s not all they’re doing. An online event and a TV special were recently announced. Here is what we know so far.

November 23 – iHeartRadio Holiday Special. Will feature a performance by BSB and an interview. The event will air on iHeartRadio’s AC and Classic Hit stations at 7 PM local time.
December 1 – ‘JCP Live Holiday Spectacular’ hosted by the Backstreet Boys. The Boys’ will premiere the music video for ‘Christmas in New York’, perform two songs from ‘A Very Backstreet Christmas’ live and will answer questions submitted by the audience. They will also be playing a few games such as “Who’s the Most Likely To…,” completing an obstacle course in snowmen costumes, learning steps to a TikTok dance and recreating seasonal makeup tutorials on bandmates. The event will take place live on the JCPenney Facebook at 8 PM ET.

‘A Very Backstreet Christmas’ album release party in Los Angeles. There are no tickets available for this event. There was a charity auction that we advertised on our social media as well as a radio contest.
December 2 – The Kelly Clarkson Show – Taping. Airing on December 12. Check local listings for time and channel.

December 8 – Christmas in New York at Audacy Live at the Hard Rock Hotel in Midtown Manhattan (contest to attend has ended)

December 9 – Good Morning America. BSB will be having a Holiday concert on the show. Airs at 7 AM ET on ABC.

The iHeartRadio Jingle Ball in New York City will be live streamed! That’s right, we can watch the concert live online at CWTV.com, on the CW app (the app is also available on smart TVs) or listen to it live on iHeartRadio stations across the U.S. The concert begins at 7 PM ET.
UPDATE: The CW never live streamed the Backstreet Boys performance. However, iHeartRadio Canada did on their YouTube.

Then on December 17, The CW will air the Jingle Ball concert on their network at 8 PM ET.

December 14 – ‘A Very Backstreet Holiday’ – ABC special airing at 8 PM ET. The Backstreet Boys very first Holiday special! The hour-long show will feature the Boys performing songs from their new Christmas album. More details to be announced soon with special surprises, and performances.
