If you haven’t at least had your eyes well up with tears while watching the video that Entertainment Tonight released of Nick and Lauren Carter’s birth story with little Saoirse Reign Carter, then I question whether you are even human.
I like to joke that I have a heart of stone, but yet I cried like a blubbering idiot at work. Makeup was all smeared, it was a hot mess. Did you miss it? Look below.
For me, it was kind of surreal seeing this happening to Nick and Lauren and them letting us be a little part of this. That’s something that I always loved about Lauren. She was never closed off when it came to letting fans be a part of her and Nick’s life – from the wedding to their pregnancy struggles.
But seeing Nick say “She’s alive!” and him thanking the hospital staff, it just got me. I was in my feelings and just started crying from happiness because I could hear that pure happiness in his voice.
And don’t even get me STARTED with them using “I Will Wait” as the song over the video. PERFECTION.
Apparently, I wasn’t the only one that thought all of this.
That little girl doesn’t know it, but she already has her Daddy wrapped around her little finger and a whole world of Backstreet Boys fans. <3
