“As Long As You Love Me” turns 21: 5 of my favorite performances

On October 21, 1997, the Backstreet Boys released “As Long As You Love Me” as a single and they’ve never looked back. Besides being a hit, it’s also the music video that introduced Brian Littrell to his future wife Leighanne. 

The music video, which was directed by the great Nigel Dick is really one of the boys’ most iconic music videos. They put morphing into boy band music videos long before One Direction.
