Bye 2016… eh, hi 2017

by | Jan 1, 2017 | Backstreet Boys, Personal

2017 was supposed to be a new start for me. But where am I writing this from right now? A hospital bed while on morphine.

2016 was not a great year for me.

Let’s face it, the only good things that happened are the fact that I went on the 2016 Backstreet Boys cruise, saw Nick perform twice in one night and saw the 98 Degrees / O-Town tour.

That’s pretty much it. Oh and Walker Stalker.

The reason why I’ve been so quiet on here is because I had to move at the last piss in the dish. To make a long story short, it was my mother’s big mouth and we ended up moving. I like where we are now. It’s like 2 minutes from my job. It’s not far from the hospital here, but today I started to freak out when they said that they were admitting me.

Granted, them saying that I had a blood clot in my lung freaked me out a little bit more because all I could think about was how was my mother going to get home and how would she get to come back here? She’s still in a wheelchair. This is a constant thing in my life. I’m always worrying about how something is going to work because of the wheelchair or if something is feasible.

I’ve been nothing but a ball of stress since this summer. The only light in my life sometimes is getting to write fun things over at backstreetboys.com. And my friends. And the fact that I’m going to see the boys in June.

I’ll have my 2016 year in review in the next few days. I was going to write it today and I ended up in the ER.
