Summer of 1998… Shania Twain was on top of the world on the country and pop charts and the Backstreet Boys pretty much owned the American music scene. The two came together on Shania Twain’s TV special that she filmed in Miami, but not my coincidence.
Shania’s husband at the time, Mutt Lange, wrote and produced “If You Want It To Be Good Girl (Get Yourself A Bad Boy)” so Shania and the boys did have some kind of history.
Take a look at the boys performing Shania’s hit, “From This Moment On,” which she originally recorded with country singer Bryan White (who I was a HUGE fan of in my teen days before I fell in love with Backstreet Boys).
Shania is currently on her brand new world tour, “Rock This Country,” and performed in Nashville Friday evening and Atlanta on Saturday.
Love this! I recorded it on VHS, pausing faithfully during commercial breaks! Also at the concert was Elton John, who sang with BSB on “Friends Never Say Goodbye” 🙂
That was really beautiful
love it so much! i’d get married just to use that song lol
