Two years ago today on July 30, 2013, the Backstreet Boys released their eighth studio album (seventh in the U.S.) “In A World Like This.” It was the first album back with all five members since 2005 after Kevin Richardson left the group in 2006.
It was also a breakthrough for the boys. It was their first independent album since leaving Jive in 2010 just before their U.S. leg of the “This Is Us” tour began. It is their best selling album since 2005’s “Never Gone”and peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard charts.
And in my honest opinion, their best yet.
