On December 31, 1999, shortly before midnight, Carson Daly introduced the Backstreet Boys on the MTV New Year’s Eve program. The boys introduced their brand new music video, “Show Me The Meaning of Being Lonely.” The video was the last music video to be released in 1999, the 1990’s, the 1900’s and the second millennium.
