The song that came in at No. 18 on the Backstreet Boys Top 20 fan voted list is one that was written for the fans – “Larger Than Life.”
“Larger Than Life” was written by Brian Littrell, Max Martin and Kristian Lundin. The song appeared as the second song on the record-breaking album “Millennium” and was the second single from the album.
The “Larger Than Life” music video, directed by Joseph Kahn, holds a Guinness World Record for the 14th most expensive music video with estimated production costs of over $2.1 million dollars. It also broke the record for longest running #1 on MTV’s Total Request Live. (You know, back when MTV showed music videos!)
