PhotoGrid_1423837881335I love to travel. It’s one of my favorite things in the world. I’ve always traveled a lot, thanks to the fact that my mother is Dutch, so I’ve always traveled through Europe to get to my siblings since a very young age. But what I’ve been doing in the last few months is totally not traveling in the common sense of the word.

You know when you travel to visit the world, you prepare your baggage accurately. You pick your more comfortable clothes, you pick your comfy shoes to let you walk for miles without a problem. You don’t usually bring make up, because you don’t need it to visit the city where you are in. It’s a pretty much light baggage with useful things, and nothing unusual.

In a non-Backstreet travel, you prepare a list of things to visit during your trip.

In a Backstreet travel, only if you have a spit of time, and the boys are not even more in that town, you can start to think to visit something, but ONLY IF they are not there anymore. Unless there’s not even a chance you could care about that city’s beautiful monuments.

Well a Backstreet travel involves different skills to prepare your baggage.

Here’s my backstreet baggage instructions:

  • You need dresses – a lot of dresses (because you wanna look pretty in your VIP picture, and because of the fact that we are pretty much all women, and we cant choose one single dress! We have to bring with us at least three dresses, in case we change our mind before leaving the hotel!)
  • You need nice clothes, but warm ones in case you need to stay for hours outside the hotel, waiting for your heroes during the winter time.
You need pretty shoes. I usually bring at least a couple of choices (you know, just in case)
  • Make-up! A lot of make up! Do you want to look like a zombie in the Nick Carter’s new movie “Dead West.” Like green skin, pimples, and messed up hair? I don’t think so.
  • I leave some space in my baggage for gifts.  I like doing gifts to Nick and Lauren, and usually, since I cant choose one dress, I cant even choose one gift, so I bring like 10 gifts for each Carter and my baggage is full.
  • You need signs to show during the show. So let’s make some room for them too!
  • You need a map of the city, but not because you want to know where that famous tower is, but because you need to know where you are, while you’re looking for the hotel where the guys stay, and the place where they’re going to sing.
  • You have to bring like a ton of high-tech stuff. You have to bring the right plug for that country. You have to bring your camera, you have to bring your phone and they have to be perfectly charged, ready to film every single moment of that adventure. That freaking phone needs to work when you’re trying to take a selfie with Nick!
  • I include in my baggage any kind of legal drugs. You know, in case of headache, stomachache, legs ache, every kind of ache. When I see the boys, I have to be perfectly healthy to enjoy every dang single moment. I don’t have time to think about my body pains!
  • Then you have to leave some space for all the kind of stuff you’re gonna buy at the merchandise stand, and all the memories you’re gonna steal from the event.

Now, pack your things and be ready to leave. You’re gonna have the time of your life!

I’m getting ready to pack my things right now ready to leave for London. It’s pretty exciting of course, but it includes like a ton of stress too. It’ll be my very first time in London and guess what? If I’ll have a couple of hours maybe I’ll go to see the Big Ben.

I said maybe.
