Singer Melanie Chisholm, known to many as Melanie C (Sporty Spice) from the Spice Girls, has written the foreword for Karah-Leigh Hancock and Emilia Filogamo’s upcoming book, “Backstreet Boys: 30th Anniversary Celebration.”

For those that do not know, a foreword is written by someone other than the author and let’s the reader know why they should read the book. In a way, it’s an endorsement for the book.

“We are thrilled to have Melanie write the foreword for our book,” Karah-Leigh said. “If I’m being honest, she’s always been my favorite Spice Girl and I’ve been a long admirer of her solo work. Hearing more about her and the Spice Girls’ history with the Backstreet Boys through her foreword is just icing on the cake.”

“I’ve been a Spice Girls fan since they first released ‘Wannabe’ in the U.S. and still listen to their music from time to time,” Emilia said. “I always knew the Spice Girls and the Backstreet Boys often met at events and concerts throughout the late ’90s in Europe and the respect they had for one another. It’s an honor to have Melanie C write the foreword for the book and to get to hear her story with the Boys.”

Melanie, who just came out with her own autobiography, “The Sporty One: My Life as a Spice Girl,” has sold more than 85 million records as a part of the mega-group. As a solo artist, she’s had two Number One singles and six Top 10 singles.

“Backstreet Boys: 30th Anniversary Celebration” will be released on April 11, 2023, nine days before the Backstreet Boys celebrate their 30th anniversary. The book is the ultimate tribute book, filled with amazon tour photography, band-member profiles, fan memories, and more!
