Just when you thought 2020 was going to be a complete bust, here comes Nick Carter saving the day like the true superhero he is.
This week, Nick surprised his fan club members and fans in general when he decided to host two livestreams on Thursday and Friday while jamming out with friends in a small recording studio in a secret location (Okay, not so secret, but still).
Literally Nick Carter is saving 2020 for Backstreet Boys fans.
While Howie has had an amazing cooking special with a friend, Baylee Littrell had a small jam session on the Littrell’s back patio, and AJ enjoyed Looped calls while releasing a Rihanna cover, us Nick girls are on cloud nine.
Besides the livestreams, Nick also did Looped phone calls with fans after each one. For the majority of us, that is the only way we are going to get interaction with him besides social media this year.
Back to the livestreams though … to me, personally, there is nothing better than watching Nickolas Gene Carter just jam out on a guitar. Yes, I love him performing with BSB and the dancing and dirty naughty gestures he does sometimes, but him with a guitar is perfection.
PER-FEC-TION.
We need more of that. It was almost like having carefree Nick back on Twitter after his tweet spree that started with my birthday wish this past Sunday and went into the livestream announcements and even more tweet sprees.
The livestreams don’t need to be fancy. It could be him, with his laptop hooked up, sitting in front of it with a guitar. He can sing the phone book if he wants to. He can sit there and play the music to Nirvana’s “All Apologies” over and over for an hour and a half, and it would be the best thing in the world.
In this world were our concerts were taken away, we have to wear a mask in public, and we live in fear that we might catch this disease and bring it home to our loved ones, Nick Carter playing the guitar is what we need.
And just for shits and giggles, Nick, here’s some songs you should take into consideration for next time:
- “Just What I Needed” by The Cars” (Yes, I was the one that kept bringing that one up)
- “Ordinary World” by Duran Duran
- “Love Song” or “Pictures Of You” by The Cure
- “All Apologies” by Nirvana
- Anything by Elvis
- The entire “Now Or Never” album
- “Just Want You To Know”
Nick Carter’s livestreams are for NIck Carter Fan Club members only. Not a member? Join now!
