The closest thing that I’ll get to a hometown show was a sell-out, according to Nick Carter on Aug. 21, when the Backstreet Boys brought their DNA World Tour to State Farm Arena (formerly Philips Arena) in the heart of Atlanta, Ga.
This was my second DNA World Tour show, having previously seen the first North America date in Washington, D.C., on my birthday.
The show was just as amazing as it was in D.C.
In fact, it was a little more special, because not only was it Brian’s town where he lives about 45-minutes up 400 in north Fulton County, it was the night before Howie’s 46th birthday.
If you were at the boys’ “In A World Like This” show in Atlanta in 2013, you’ll remember that we also celebrated Howie’s special 40th birthday here.

Next up for me? Birmingham and Pittsburgh.
