The Backstreet Boys’ first single from “DNA,” “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart,” won an award at the 67th Annual BMI Pop Awards on Tuesday.

The song, written by Stuart Crichton, Jamie Hartman, and Stephen Wrabel, was released last May 17, 2018. The song was the first time the group charted on the Billboard Hot 100, Adult Contemporary and Mainstream Top 40 charts since “Incomplete” in 2005.

And believe it or not, the song peaked on Adult Top 40 radio at No. 9, passing the group’s biggest hit, “I Want It That Way,” which peaked at No. 11.

“Don’t Go Breaking My Heart” was also nominated for a 2019 Grammy Award in the “Best Pop Group/Duo Performance.”
