The “A to Z of Boy Bands” is a new post series we are going to have on The Fangirling Life where we go letter by letter, talking about boy bands. Each post will include three people, songs, etc. that start with the letter.
“Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)” by Backstreet Boys
This is by far probably the best-known song by the Backstreet Boys besides “I Want It That Way.” This is the song everybody wants to see them perform. The song originally on the first pressing of their U.S. debut album, “Backstreet Boys,” because they thought, well, Backstreet’s not back because this is their first U.S. album. But Jive Records recognized the greatness and the song was added.
And a Backstreet Boys concert was never the same.
“End of the Road” by Boyz II Men
One of the biggest songs of the ’90s and of all time wasn’t even really a cut on Boyz II Men’s albums. “End of the Road” was released originally on the “Boomerang” soundtrack, an Eddie Murphy movie. The song spent 13 weeks at No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 charts and was broken a year later by Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You.” Boyz II Men would go on to break that record, but that’s another story. The song was released on a reissue of the group’s debut album, “Cooleyhighharmony.”

“Eyes Closed” by In Real Life
“Eyes Closed” is the first single by boy band In Real Life that was formed on the ABC reality TV show, “Boy Band.” They just had to be included because the song is great and the music video is cute, plus Nick Carter was a judge on the show. We love anything Nick touches.
