I know, my resolution of blogging more has went out the window and it’s only February. To say the least, I’ve been really busy.
I started a part-time weekend job at one of my favorite stores – Torrid. I love it. I love the fashion and helping people pick out outfits and being out from behind a computer. However, my feet do not like it. My fibromyalgia is kicking my butt. After four hours, I can barely walk. I mean, this coming from a girl that before she got sick, would stand for 10 hours to make sure she had front row for Nick Carter’s first solo tour back in October 2002. Hell, the first cruise I went on in 2011, I was fine.
However, come 2014 and this past cruise in 2016, I wore out more quickly and gave out of energy. My body couldn’t take it. And you know, I’m sure some people would be like, “Hey, you’re fat,” but you know, it has nothing to do with that. Sure, I’m not in the best shape, but it never bothered me before until I really started feeling bad and got diagnosed.
But, I like the extra money, need the extra money and really do have fun at it. Plus, did you know employees get a 40% off discount? Yes!
Also, my Mom has been going through a few more health things. She may have to have one of her legs, below her knee amputated, but no solid word on that just yet.
Plus, I need to go to a doctor soon, but I’m just scared to. When I was hospitalized at the beginning of the year, they found some type of thing in my uterus, a cyst or something, which I’m sure that’s all it is because I have Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS). This is all too much information, but I just felt like sharing it.
So when I have a bit of free time between the full-time job, the part-time job and being a person, I try to do something I love – whether it’s watching television or working on something for the official Backstreet Boys fan club.
Plus, I can’t wait until Las Vegas in June. I need that time away from real life. I need to hang out with my girls. I need a hug from the boys.
So yeah, the site sucks, I know. Life has gotten too busy to even attempt to run any kind of fan site. Sucks, doesn’t it?
