Random thoughts: When boredom gets to you

Do you ever sit around and want to do something so badly, yet, you can’t really figure out what it is you want to do?

That’s how I’ve felt all day. I worked on #ProjectCarter for a bit to the point where I’m almost caught up and watched the Atlanta vs. Green Bay game, which Atlanta came out on top (#RiseUp!) and I’m still sitting here with my huge laptop and my Chromebook and just have no idea what I want to do.

Is that weird? Probably. I’ve been in a weird mood all weekend. I’ve tried working on my old fan fiction stories to possibly put back up, but, I just can’t bring myself to do it. I feel like that part of me is dead for good reason. Maybe if I can get more than one day off work some time without something health wise with myself or my Mom, maybe I can try to get them back up.

Today, back where I’m originally from, tornados have been going through and several people in my town have died from the severe storms and that’s all I’m seeing on Facebook. But I don’t really know what to say about it when people post. I’m awkward in those situations. It’s pouring rain here right now, which might be why I’m kind of sleepy.

Back to the Falcons, the last time they went to the Super Bowl, it was 19 years ago when I was a senior in high school.

Yes, I’m that old.

Trust me, I feel it.

It’s also the last football game in the George Dome, which has a lot of memories for me, back to my high school years. My high school football team went there twice and won games in the playoffs and of course, they have a huge record with the Backstreet Boys as the biggest concert to ever be held in the state of Georgia on the boys’ “Millennium” tour. I wasn’t there, but have friends who were.

Since I don’t work in sports anymore, watching this game day has made me kind of miss it all. I might try to go to a game next year because I do need to get back into it. I was so in love with football and sports in high school. My bedroom was decorated in Green Bay colors (mostly because of Brett Favre), but still.

I’m bored, can you tell?
