Tuesday was the 20th anniversary of one of my favorite movies, “That Thing You Do!,” being released. The movie was Tom Hanks’ directorial debut and was one of Liv Tyler’s first starring roles.
I can’t believe it’s been 20 years since the first time I heard that beat, the very beginning of the song. The movie was one that friends and I would joke about in high school. I guess my old love of boy bands showed with my love of this movie.
