The eighth song on the Top 20 Backstreet Boys favorite songs, as voted on by fans, is probably their other signature song, besides “I Want It That Way.”
“Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)” is the first single from the Backstreet Boys’ second international album “Backstreet’s Back” in 1997, and the fourth single from their debut US album in 1998. The US debut was originally released without the song, which references the band’s return via their second international album. However, once it was decided to release the single in the US, the album was re-released with “Everybody” included.
The song was written by Dennis PoP and Max Martin.
The group won a MTV Movie Award for Best Musical Moment with their appearance in the 2013 Seth Rogen movie, “This Is The End.”
