#Thoughts: Just stop your cryin’ it’s a sign of the times …

As I mentioned in the #AskTheFangirl post tonight, my life has been back to crazy hecticness the past few weeks.

Work: We are down two people at work right now and one had to go out of town for some family stuff this weekend, so things have been hella busy and crazy and I’m trying to work all the overtime I can, but I’m exhausted.

Why am I exhausted?

The night before Easter, I had to take my mother to the emergency room and she was admitted. Her kidneys were shutting down. The infection was back, too. So dialysis was started. She went into the Critical Care Unit for a few days and finally back to a room, but I don’t know when she’ll be home.

So between my mother and work and trying to take care of things at home and breathing and trying to sleep, I haven’t had much time for anything else. I mean, I was so busy, I forgot Thomas Rhett tickets went on sale, but thanks to Julia, we have that to look forward to in September.

I’m just scared my Mom won’t be home before I go to Vegas. I mean, the hospital or rehab place would be the best place for her, but who will take care of the cats? I can’t leave Piper and Phoebe for a few days with no food, clean water or a clean litterbox. One of my bosses at work said she’d come by to do that, but still, she’s a stranger to them and it scares me and I can’t afford putting them up for five days. Plus, Phoebe is so skittish around others that I don’t know if she’d last.

So to say I’ve been stressed and crazy is an understatement.

But there is some goodness happening.

I have Vegas in just a little over a month. Then New Kids on the Block, Boyz II Men and Paula Abdul two days after my birthday in July. Then in September is Thomas Rhett, then a few days later, Harry Styles. Then after that Florida Georgia Line, Nelly and Chris Lane (although tickets haven’t gone on sale for that), so that’s a pretty good start.

Oh and I booked the cruise with Mara (for a third year!) and a BSB cruise virgin, Lacy. Hannah’s unable to book right now or possibly go and we can’t seem to talk Julia into it. Our room can hold four though, even though the cruise is sold out.

I just hope everything continues to start looking better with my Mom. She won’t let me cancel Vegas because she knows I’ve been looking forward to it since last Summer.

I need this Vegas trip. I just hope everything is okay when it’s time to leave. 🙁
